its a really fun game, but I keep getting this glitch on my mac and every time I close the game I can’t reopen it.

now normally, i get bored with rpg games. but this game is just amazing. I love the dialogue and weapon names, and the quests are great. the only part i am finding annoying is iraess...

I love the way you can choose to be nice to people or mean to them, it makes the game alot different form other games like it. I also like how there are shops so you can upgrade your character. I highly recremend this game.

An addicting role playing, side scrolling fighting game where you can continuously upgrade your character by buying new armor, apparel, and weapons as the enemies get progressively more difficult. Even the story is surprisingly pretty good. The developers of this game are actually clever - you get to play up to level 10, and then you can’t proceed until you pay for one of three in game packs - which are $2.99, $3.99, and $4.99. By that point, I was so hooked I had to get the $4.99 edition; it’s worth paying 1 or 2 more dollars than the lower packages!

Simple (to extraorinaryily challenging on the avoiding enemy fire) controls and overall plot. Considering that there are version of this for both OS X and iOS, the usage of the cloud to save/retrieve a profile and tie in with the Apple ID is a beautiful thing to see. Fun and entertaining!

Idk if Im missing something but some of the fights are needlessly long and boring

LOVE this game. First off, the graphics are unique and beautiful. I love how the storyline is pretty dark and match with these cute little creatures - amusing. It’s a great juxtaposition. Second, the storyline is fantastic. For a relatively simple RPG there’s a lot of options. I do wish you have more choice about ignoring quests/choosing sides. Hope there is a sequel!

Quality look & feel. Definitely worth your time. Looks fantastic on my (Retina) MacBook Pro. A “must download."

I love this game! The story, the armer and swords are so cool! Its so addictive!

All around this is a great game…the one and only thing i hate is that u cant quit a mission/quest if stuck on it…I can’t beat a fight in a quest, and it wont let me travel anywhere else until i beat the fight…been stuck on it for days… :( other than that tho u cant complain at all

good game but no scythes. It needs scythes to be called reaper

I have this game on my BlackBerry Playbook and love it. I was so excited to see it on the Mac App store! I LOVE it.

I love this game! It’s so addicting, and you don’t need internet to play it so I can just play it whenever! Plus it’s challenging, but not too challenging, so it’s perfect for anyone! This is definitely a game for anyone. Awesome game. Get it. Buy the upgrades. You won’t regret it.

Reaper changes the look of 2D RPGs and is spectacular For its unique graphics and stunning story lines, I give it 5 star cause this is the type of games we need nowadays.

Around 40% of the games enemies will shoot things at you. This is annoying because never do you get to have a ranged weapon but yet you have to deal with LITERALLY hundreds of seeking missles, arrows, etc ALL AT THE SAME TIME. To top it all off, EVERY SINGLE FLYING ANYTHING in the ENTIRE game runs away from you and it is difficult to catch up to the enemy to actually kill it. A perfect example of this is the end game boss who ONLY RUNS AWAY FROM YOU and is practically invincible. I strongly do not recommend this game.

It seems like every game these days is trying to murder me. This game is an exception to the rule: it’s not too easy, not too hard – it’s just right.

This game amazes me, and it should amaze you too. I am normally an fps guy, I love games like Call of Duty and Battlefield, and before Reaper, I had never found an RPG or a side-scroller that I like. This game has all the elements of a successful game and presents them in an aesthetic, fun, and addicting manner. Everything is done with just the right moderation to make this game niether boring or exhausting. I bought the Dark Legend Edition, which is only $4.99 (total steal), and it unlocks the entire game and gives you some cool in-game items. I definitely reccommend this game to anyone looking to have fun.

Great game so far, hard to put down. I wish the mouse cursor would hide during battles and that you didnt need mouse to navigate menus and map at all..
