Donkey Kong Meets Puzzle Quest in a Clash of Dry Wit
Addiction Incarnate!
Love at first sight... like a siren the graphics beckoned and I obligingly upgraded to "The Next Big Cat" OS. Not surprisingly It took me almost a full game to realize how to get skulls & buy things from the trinket shop so if you take the time to read the tutorial & a decent amount of dialogue (like I didnt) you will catch on a might quicker. Even after I got the whole "skulls" thing down pat the controls and combos were challenging for me but I prevailed through cramped shoulders & denied thirst!!
I do love a good in-depth RPG (this isnt really one of those) but it is a terribly nice nibble of Donkey Kong meets Puzzle Quest without the match 3. Important to note that the music worked very well with the gameplay (even after the first 10hrs) and the cutesy (albeit sometimes twisted) artistry & dialogue is a bucket full of sadistic humor and not really content for your toddler.
In essence this game is glorious fun (& has brilliant potential for a sequel) so settle in for a few hours of zombified distraction because it is more than worth the price of admission! ;)
